Stoked - A New Watch Incoming!

Well well. It's been awhile since I actually posted here, much less actually acquired a watch. But as you all know, things are never predictable around here. The Watch Post has always been a Wild West for all horological pursuits; I may claim to have attained my grail watch, and next thing you know I'm flipping it off. Therein lies the reason behind today's post.

I'm well into the working life now, and it gets real hard to update this blog as I had during my college days. Overall, I have to say that my interest in watches has also declined after the realities of life hit you once you're no longer leading a students life. Today, we're going back to school and you are all in for a treat. Yes, I made a new purchase, and it's my first watch purchase in what I believe is the first in over a year, maybe close to two.

So without further ado, let's unveil the choice of watch:

Getat Watch

Truth is, I rarely wear mechanical watches these days. I usually grab my Casio DW5600E and rush off to work. Work has been all-consuming for me the past 3.5 years and having something that is maintenance-free is what I reach for whenever I leave the house.

However, I must say that the 45mm Radiomir offerings are really making me itch for one. It was what I wanted to buy before his website went bust. At the configuration that I would like it, it'll be a rather hefty USD 202 though, so I'm sitting on the fence about it.
